From the start of this blog, you can probably tell I have more motivation to do this blog than previously. I apologize for the almost two-week hiatus from working on this blog. I have been in somewhat of a minor rut and therefore was unmotivated to really do the desk blog...which led me to start my personal blog. After a few entries in my personal blog, I feel like I am refreshed and ready to start again on the desk blog.
Here are some of the highlights from the past almost two weeks since I have been working the desk:
- The delivery guy from Pizza that I mentioned in an earlier blog post delivered a large, stuffed-crust, Meat Lovers pizza to the desk workers for free
- People have been delivering gifts for new members of sororities
- I had four guys sing to me at the front desk after they had just sang to a new member of the Delta Zeta sorority
- I took two people to McDonalds at 2:30 in the morning before my 3-7 am shift on Saturday morning (loooooooooooong story behind that one)
- Various abusive behavior from various male Kiewit RAs (love you, Chris Boitano)
Those are just some of the highlights from the past few days...if anything new comes up, it will definitely be posted on this blog. Hope the start of the semester is going well!!
